Sunset sketch of the colored Crimean mountains. Colored - because it is all different in color and texture. One bald is the color of burnt grass, the second is spotted with forest and crevices. And so each one has its own unique color, silhouette and texture. The main principle of the artist: “Generalize and simplify" only helps not to dig into the details ...

I have a completely wonderful plant in the garden - an oleander of a pale pink color. No, there are pink and lemon and terry, but it is this pale pink that is my favorite. I don’t really like white flowers - someone in the Crimea constantly eats them, they burn in the sun or something else. But the oleander is good not only because it blooms non-stop all summer, is not afraid of the scorching sun, but it is also poisonous!

All the same, my hands do not reach my grandiose creative ideas. They are grandiose only in my thoughts, and reality will put everything in its place. Find somewhere time and strength at least half! In the meantime, I am content with quick sketches in the evenings at sea. The result is so-so. And I don’t manage to make friends with the baohong cotton. But at least the bone in the hands will not rust😂😂😂

Watercolor on paper 38x56

Watercolor. And again about the temperament. In watercolor you can’t control everything, perfectionists are strictly contraindicated !!! Somewhere to let go, somewhere to adjust, spread out with her ... And without the right to make a mistake. No, of course, there is white, but they are often considered a "dirty game." Everyone argues on the topic of whitewash: "can-not" and in what quantity. At competitions, even a maximum of 10% is agreed.

 Tempera on canvas, 40x50

My tamper version of the summer flowers, in my opinion.

After a long watercolor period, I decided to "relax" at the tempera. I wrote with puppy enthusiasm and thought about the connection of temperament and materials for creativity. I will not be surprised if a horoscope on this topic appears soon. It’s even surprising that this is not yet (or maybe I just don’t know?!). People with a passionate temperament like me, watercolor is difficult. But stubbornness does not allow to recede - I have to understand and understand her! I would splash everything on a plane and happiness, but with it everything is not so simple ... With this watercolor. Drawing and graphics were also not easy for me - no, they weren’t given, but I don’t like this thing.

Day 9-10. # 8 minutes raged. I recklessly left the most difficult and interesting for the last days. The virus crippled my mood and strength, but I did IT! Not as good as we would like, but a start has been made. Let's see how further without external forces I will plunge into the implementation of my plans and ideas. Last night, I frantically completed the drafts and giggled to myself - as in the good old student days before the exam. I will not spread everything - I completely rejected a couple of drafts and now I have every right to do it! So the topic is children. For a long time I really want to deal with the images of my boys.

Day 8. More precisely, it’s already the 10th, but I fell out of the stream due to a virus and now I'm trying to catch up. Efficiency and concentration leave much to be desired, but what to do ?! I took out paper on which I could not write at all - I bought it many years ago and do not even remember the manufacturer. I still can’t write on it (sunset with the moon)! But the cotton taken to the beach seemed divine! Here it is! RESULT!

Bobby died. Or I got sick and, it seems, will go down this track. With a cast-iron head, snot and thick fog around it is extremely difficult to concentrate on something. Everything infuriates and annoys. I hate to hurt, especially in the summer. I hate myself for the weakness that I wanted to talk and relax, and we went to meet friends with a sick girl. This bosom "Avos" never works for me, it's time to draw conclusions. My # 8 minutes have fallen dramatically in quality, it seems to me ... Yes, and I don’t want to draw anything.

Slowly, I’m starting to understand that there isn’t so much to write about the nature that you mortally want. Or maybe I'm a little tired. For me, 2 sketches a day just right. 4th is usually already going hard. I wanted to return to the grapes - he is very beautiful when he ripens! Much more interesting is the finished mature crop: individual berries in the brush begin to turn colored and resemble a colored mosaic. And the sun !!! During the study, we did not see the sun at all and did not write. Everything was dark gray. And now I discover the world in the sunlight and I really like it.

Back side. Recently, a good friend of mine informed me that watercolor paper has a downside. Especially in cellulose. No, of course, I knew that it was, but that it was impossible to write on it was a discovery for me. And, as luck would have it, that day I didn’t succeed, and that very reverse side of the buckingford behaved very ugly ... But I almost always tend to blame the “dancer” for everything, otherwise everything will be “wrong” and to blame: paper, paints, weather, etc. I believe that under everything you can, and sometimes you need, to adapt.
